There is a renewed need for blood in Central Virginia after the Wednesday snowstorm
Because of the weather and power outages, Virginia Blood Services (VBS) wasn't able to collect blood for area hospitals.
The VBS Bloodmobile will be collecting blood at Gold's Gym on Hydraulic Road Thursday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
