Bomb Threat Called in at Greene Co. School

May 9, 2014

Another bomb threat was called in at a school today in Greene County.

A threat was called in at William Monroe Middle School on Friday.

Students were immediately evacuated to William Monroe High School, where they waited for bomb sniffing dogs to search the school.

Residents are worried that the threats are negatively impacting the learning environment for students.

"I think it keeps them upset, worked up to where they can’t concentrate on studies," said Larry Mayhew.

This is the fourth bomb threat for Greene County schools this week.
