Buckingham Co. Man Facing First Degree Murder Charge

June 5, 2013

Charges against a Buckingham County man accused of the stabbing death of his girlfriend are moving forward.

Christopher Moseley is accused of killing his girlfriend, 18-year-old Alexis Rose, in the parking lot of a grocery store in Dillwyn in April.

On Tuesday, a judge certified a first degree murder charge to the grand jury.

In court testimony, investigators revealed that Alexis Rose was not pregnant when she died. Members of Rose's family had previously claimed that she was pregnant at the time of her death.

Moseley is being held at the Piedmont Regional Jail.
