CBS News correspondent Jeff Greenfield visited the Miller Center at The University of Virginia Monday. He is promoting his new book called “Then Everything Changed.”

At the forum., the Newsplex asked him about his thoughts on the upcoming presidential elections. He said President Obama's low job approval ratings will hurt him in this election, but it's hard to predict which party will win and we won't know anything until people vote.

“ It is very hard to see how Obama could win this. It is not at all hard to see how the Republicans can lose this. If they put up a nominee who alienates the middle someone, who is seen just too far outside of the mainstream or too risky then Obama has a real chance,” said Greenfield.

Greenfield held a book signing following his forum.
