Cancer survivors reunited Sunday to share their stories of struggles and triumphs at an annual event, Celebration of Life, hosted by Martha Jefferson Hospital.
The annual event on Sunday, welcomed survivors, families, friends and those that are living with cancer.
Some say it was their faith that saw them through their treatment.
"I have had some rough times, but thank God, He has enabled me to still stay here so I may be able to talk to someone else and help them along the way," said cancer survivor Signora Hubert.
"It's a great feeling to meet other people that have been through it and hear their story, how many years they've been in remission and what they are going through now," said cancer survivor Jill Mozee.
The hospital distributed yellow flowers as a symbol of life and spring.
