Candidate Urging Virginians to Write-In His Name on Ballot for Governor

June 11, 2013

Tareq Salahi will not be on the ballot for Virginia's gubernatorial election, but that doesn't mean you can't vote for him.

Salahi was not able to qualify for the ballot this November, but he is still running as a write-in candidate.

"You have the unique opportunity to send a strong message to both parties by writing in Tareq Salahi, and I ask for your support in this endeavor," said Salahi. "Let's make this an historic year with the largest number of write in votes ever in a Virginia Governor's race."

Salahi says regardless of the outcome in November, he is also planning to seek a US Congressional seat in the upcoming election.
