Car Crash Slows Monday Morning Commute

A single-vehicle crash caused significant delays on Interstate 64EB at mile marker 109 in the Crozet area.

According to information from the Virginia Department of Transportation, eastbound traffic was backed up for several miles.

The crash happened shortly before 8 A.M. Monday.

One person was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital. The other person in the car was not hurt.
