No question they are a talented baseball team, but why leave it to chance? While the Hoos are in Omaha, fans here have been doing their part.

Someone took the time to put signs all along 29 from Target to Century Link. Some people met up with their friends to cheer on their team.

And some people lock their friends in the bathroom, just in case.

"If you’re doing well and someone’s not watching the game and they're in the bathroom, Im going to keep them in the bathroom. I’m sorry, you got to go back, you can’t stay here. We're doing far too well. "

One fan refuses to wear sunglasses the day UVA plays. He says if he wears sunglasses, the game could get rained out...

Another fan shows his wahoo superstitions in the form of his clothes.

"I've been wearing this t-shirt the entire world series and my wife id very happy it’s the last game of the season. I’m just joking. Seriously, every big basketball game, every big baseball game I make sure I have this hat on and this shirt. Because superstition? It’s all about superstition!"

And some Wahoo out there took it all the way down to his underwear.

"I had a friend today say have you changed their underwear since they've been winning? So it’s not that bad!"

So whatever their method, these fans decided it was too big of a game, to leave it to chance.
