Residents from Crescent Hall in Charlottesville are celebrating the day of thanks a day early.
Neighbors took part in a Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday. This is the first Thanksgiving event for Crescent Hall, and it won't be the last as they continue to build a stronger community.
“It's important that we love one another because we live together, you know, this is a family,” Trina Banks said. “We are looking forward to lifting Crescent Hall up and the residents and coming together and just loving one another and helping one another.”
The Crescent Hall choir performed before lunch was served.
