Several small business owners from around the city and Albemarle County got a chance to meet with Delegate Rob Bell during this week's Charlottesville Business Exchange (CBE) meeting.
Their goal was to hear from Del. Bell about issues that small businesses are facing now. Some even asked questions about how to better prepare students for businesses as they are entering the workforce.
CBE President Janine Jensen believes it's important to get Del. Bell's perspective on these issues.
“We want to find out what is going on from the top down at the delegate level and how it affects us and our businesses,” said Jensen. “There are concerns with health care, of course schools, taxation all of the issues that affect everyone's pocket books, at home and in their businesses.”
The CBE meets every week to talk about issues their businesses are facing.
