Charlottesville City Hall to Close for Independence Day

Charlottesville City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 4, for Independence Day.

Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will operate on a Sunday schedule.

City trash and recycling will not be collected on the 4th of July. Friday trash and recycling collection will be picked up on Saturday, July 5.

Officials say city offices will reopen Monday, July 7.
