Charlottesville's government will be out to meet the community on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM for Government Services Day.
The fair will be in front of Charlottesville City Hall and along the Downtown Mall. There will be information on city departments, services and careers that are available within City Government.
The event is for all ages, and children from across Charlottesville are expected to attend to learn about the functions of government. Private schools and home-schools are encouraged to attend.
The event is free and open to the public.
