Charlottesville Curbside Christmas Tree Collection Starts Next Week

Charlottesville Christmas tree curbside pickup will be the week of January 6, 2014. Trees must be at the curb side by 7:00 a.m. on January 6th to be collected sometime that week.

Officials say trees should be free of lights, nails, tinsel, ornaments, and tree stands. After collection the trees will be taken to Darden Towe Park and turned into mulch.

Free mulch from recycled trees will be available starting February 1st at Darden Towe Park.
