Charlottesville Named One of the Best Places to Live ranks Charlottesville at 26 in its list of the Top 100 Best Places to Live 2014.

Charlottesville is one of the best places in the nation to live, according to

The city ranked 26th in the country on the list, and was the only city in Virginia to be ranked in the top 50.

Rankings are based on economy, healthcare, housing, education, infrastructure and other factors.

The number one city on the list was Palo Alto, California.
