Livability.com has named Charlottesville on the top ten cities for affordable health care in the U.S.
Charlottesville falls sixth on the list. The website cites the city's low health-care spending, access to hospitals and doctors and high quality of life.
Editors say Charlottesville holds the highest doctor to resident ratio on the list, and the average resident spends only 71 percent of what most Americans to on health care each year.
