Charlottesville Police Investigating Robbery off Preston Ave.

Charlottesville Police are investigating a robbery in the city this afternoon.

Officials say the robbery happened around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, when a man was walking on the railroad tracks off of Preston Avenue.

Police say the suspect flashed a gun, took the victim's wallet, and then punched him.

The victim then went to the parking lot of Reid Super-Save Market and called police. He was treated for minor injuries.
