March 17, 2014

Charlottesville City Code requires that property owners remove snow from sidewalks within 24 hours of the end of snow fall.

Per city code, the City Manager has declared 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, as the end of the most recent snow fall.

Snow must be removed from sidewalks by 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18.

The City of Charlottesville reminds the community to be safe and healthy when shoveling snow and to assist neighbors who may have difficulty removing snow from their property.
