The City of Charlottesville is seeking input on neighborhood deer challenges.
Following a recent public discussion on deer mitigation in local neighborhoods, the city is looking for public opinion on the issue.
At the most recent City Council meeting, city staff agreed to undertake a comprehensive public education effort to determine the degree of the challenge and offer possible non-lethal solutions to correct problem areas.
The city is asking residents to log on to the city’s homepage, Charlottesville.org, and assist staff in determining the extent of the issue in their area of the city.
