Charlottesville Woman Arrested in Connection to Overnight Stabbing
A Charlottesville woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an overnight stabbing. According to officers, 39-year-old Yolanda Monroe stabbed a man in his arm with a knife.

A Charlottesville woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an overnight stabbing.

The stabbing happened around 1:15 a.m. Saturday morning on Prospect Avenue. Police call it a domestic situation.

According to officers, 39-year-old Yolanda Monroe stabbed a man in his arm with a knife.

Monroe has been charged with felonious assault. The victim was taken to the U.Va. Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.
