Child Dies From Car Crash Injuries

A young boy from Nellysford has died as a result of a crash in Nelson County.

The crash happened Sunday night, on Wilson Hill Road, not far from Route 29.

Virginia State Police say, the teenage driver lost control and hit a tree.

5 year-old Jeremiah Clark died in the hospital on Monday.

The driver and all four passengers were wearing seat belts.

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash, though the investigation in ongoing.
