Dozens of dresses, in every color, are on the hangers and ready to be sold to teens all throughout Central Virginia.
Cinderella's Closet will open its doors at Monticello High School for prom dress shopping on Friday and Saturday.
Dresses are donated all year long to give girls the chance to have the perfect dress for homecoming in the fall and prom in the spring.
Near and far, the Monticello High School PTO wants every girl to love her dress especially if they can't spend hundreds of dollars on it.
One woman even found her wedding dress in Cinderella's Closet last year and organizers say they encourage 8th graders and pageant competitors to see what they have to offer. All dresses are $25.
"It's really exciting, the girls get really into it once they start going through what we have. Especially seeing some of the brands that we have and dresses with tags still on them. It's just really exciting," Jackie Newton, president of the Monticello High School PTO said.
Proceeds go directly back to Monticello High School clubs, committees and teachers.
Doors will open on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and close for the night at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, it will be open from 9: a.m. to 1 p.m.
