With still a few months to go, dozens of teens are able to say they are done shopping for their special prom dress.
Cinderella's Closet, the annual fundraiser for Monticello High School, closed up shop Saturday afternoon after a two-day sale at the school.
Dresses have been donated all year long to provide a variety of choices at the price of $25 for those who want a dress but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars.
More than 60 dresses were sold throughout the two days to women and girls all over central Virginia.
One local shopper says it's her third time going to prom and says she always tries to be thrifty.
"I found one dress - got it for 20 percent off and got it down to $15, but it's not here yet so I came to Cinderella's Boutique to try to find one for its replacement," said Rachel Buckland, a Monticello High School junior. "And I love this one it's just great and I'm just really excited."
Organizers say they immediately start collection donations for their fall sale before Homecoming dances start at all of the schools.
