Monday, Brandon Collins unveiled his plan to create more jobs in Charlottesville. The Charlottesville City Council candidate addressed a group of people outside of the Transit Center on the downtown mall in Charlottesville.
The Independent candidate said if elected, he would focus on job creation, housing and transportation.
"I say we can do big, big things and really get people moving up the ladder making decent wages and having a better quality of life," said Collins.
Collins adds his plan would change the balance of workers to jobs in Charlottesville. He says that he hopes to put the plan in place during his first year if elected.

I read the website. This is going to be funded by "outside funds?" How exactly are we going to get all these "outside funds" for this? And you encourage "civil disobedience" to change things?! How about some real ideas and solutions instead of tantrums and wanting someone else to solve the problems!
I would like to know exactly where any of Mr. Collins' socialist agenda has created more jobs and improved the quality of life.
here's a link to the statement I read, and there is plenty of other information on my website as well http://votebrandoncollins.wordpress.com/2011/09/05/labor-day-statement-we-need-jobs-and-better-wages/
