Clark Elementary Students Help Design Mother's Day Treat

May 9, 2013

Some students at Clark Elementary have a special gift from mom Sunday.

The kids paired up with Gearhart's to make chocolates with their drawings on the top.

The students drew the pictures in art class, and then Gearhart's transferred the pictures to a hazelnut chocolate.

"I think it's a great win-win for everybody," said Tim Gearhart of Gearhart's Fine Chocolates. "It helps us as far as making an original and interesting looking chocolate and I think the kids always get a big kick out of it.”

Each student received a set of six chocolates to give to their mom.

The sets are also being sold at Gearhart's on West Main.
