Homes across Charlottesville are gaining value according to new data released Tuesday by CoreLogic.
Home prices in Charlottesville rose by 0.6 percent in April compared to last year, and 1.4 percent compared to March of this year.
CoreLogic predicts a 1 percent increase in home prices this coming month. Their forecast also projects that home prices will rise by 6.3 percent, give or take 1.5 percent, from April this year to April 2015.
National home prices rose by 10.5 percent for the month April compared to last year, making this the 26th month in a row that home prices have gone up. On a month-over-month basis, national home prices increased by 2.1 percent from March to April 2014.
