On Friday, road crews began blasting away rocks on the Meadowcreek Parkway so they could install a sewer line.
Near-by residents have been notified of the blasting, and are being offered inspections to make sure their homes aren't damaged by the road work.
Drivers are being asked to turn off their cell phones while they go through the intersection at McIntire and 250 Bypass, because the signal from the phone could disrupt the detonation devices.
