Crews in Albemarle County are working late into the night Thursday at Route 29 and Interstate 64.
They will be making repairs to the pavement on the interchange.
The pavement was damaged when a tractor-trailer overturned on August 26.
Starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, the northbound and southbound lanes of Route 29 will close so pavement can be milled and repaved.
Then, crews will close the I-64 westbound exit ramp onto Route 29 southbound as well as the right southbound lane so those lanes can be milled and paved.
Detour signs are posted in the area for drivers.
The work is expected to be completed early Friday morning.
