Charlottesville's department of parks and recreation held a holiday craft-making day for families on Saturday.
Families had the opportunity to meet Santa, take pictures and visit all of the craft tables for a different project.
The annual event was held Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Key Recreation Center and was a big hit for families. Parents say it was a great opportunity for families to spend time together especially after the tragedy in Newtown, Conn., on Friday.
