The family of a Charlottesville teen missing since early last week will hit the streets this weekend to look for answers.
Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm, a group of volunteers will be searching around West Main Street near the Amtrak station looking for any clues that may help find Dashad Smith.
Smith, who also goes by the name Sage, was last seen in that area last week.
Lolita Smith, Dashad's grandmother, says she feel like she has no control.
"I don't know where he's at, and I often just think, you know, is he hungry? Is he cold? What's happening to him? And that's what hurts me the most is because I don't know."
Police are also looking for Erik McFadden. He was supposed to meet Smith on the day he disappeared. Police say McFadden appears to have left the area.
