Delivery Driver Assaulted, Robbed in Charlottesville

November 14, 2011

Charlottesville Police are searching for three men who reportedly roughed up and robbed a delivery driver.

Police say a driver for a Polynesian restaurant delivered food in the 600 block of Prospect Avenue Sunday night. As the driver approached the door, police say three men came around the side of the house and assaulted him.

The only thing stolen was the food. No cash was taken.

The delivery driver received minor injuries and did not need to go to the hospital for treatment.

Police have not released a description of the suspects.
