Dozens of people hopped onto a bus to get some help with their taxes on Thursday.
The Thomas Jefferson Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition teamed up with BB&T to bring the "Bank Bus" to Albemarle County.
The bus is a mobile tax preparation center with IRS certified volunteers to guide people through tax forms, as well as offer free financial counseling.
"I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some tax refund," said Robin Hoffman. "I do this because I'm not able to afford an accountant, and it's really great that this is going to help me out."
Families that earned less than $51,000 in 2012 were eligible.
The United Way is offering free tax assistance until April 15.
