Dress Discounts for All at Cinderella's Closet

September 14, 2013

Local girls this weekend could get the dress of their dreams at the price of their dreams at one high school.

A few students at Monticello High School put on the event to sell new and gently-used formal dresses and shoes for dances and prom.

"People from all over come to this event and get dresses for homecoming, for prom for different things," said Monticello High School senior Sharon Fernandez.

Some dresses still had the tags on.

The dresses cost $35 and were donated by people and shops around the area.

"It's honestly the best feeling seeing someone try it on, and it looks great on them," Monticello High School senior Carolline Firer said. "Knowing that instead of them sitting in my closet, these dresses can go on and help someone go to homecoming, have a good time and and look great."

Monticello High School students were able to get dresses at a $10 discount for just $25 with a school ID card.
