High schoolers from around Virginia presented business plans at the 2nd Annual High School Business Competition.
The competition was hosted by Google and the Enactus chapter of UVa.
Seven schools put together presentations geared to helping people understand the negative affects of cyber bullying. The students presented in front of business leaders from Charlottesville and around the Commonwealth
Johnathan Redgrave, partner at Redgrave LLP, was one of the judges.
"The students worked hard to understand both the project, but then to take it to the next level," says Redgrave. "this is exactly what we want students to be doing, to be creative and to be able to say I can make a difference, because what was great about this project was people understood wow this affects me."
After the presentation the students were tested on business and accounting material that was presented to them by UVa. business students.
The event was held at the McIntire School of Commerce.
