Folks who love to read are getting excited about the annual Virginia Festival of the Book.
The five day event kicked off Wednesday morning with a leadership breakfast at the Omni Hotel in Charlottesville.
Over the next few days more than 400 authors, poets, and publishers will come out to put on events for adults and children.
One of this year's highlights is called "Sports Night", which is taking place at the Paramount Theater on March 20.
