The Festival of the Photograph is underway in Charlottesville. It has hundreds of top notch photographers and fans of the photo heading to the downtown mall.
Registration for the events, shows and lectures took place Thursday. By mid-day, over 200 people had picked up tickets.
"This years festival, the tickets have sold out in record time and the festival just keeps growing and growing and we keep accommodating and working with that inherent need that's coming a long with it," said Nick Strocchia of Look3.
Some of the Look3 events do require tickets, however the massive nature photos hanging on the downtown mall are free for anyone to enjoy.
