Fire Crews Respond to Court Square

Charlottesville fire crews responded to Court Square on Sunday night.

Crews got a call for a burning smell coming from the building at 500 Court Square.

Firefighters were able to determine which apartment the smell was coming from and had to force their way inside.

They got the fire, which caused significant smoke, under control quickly.

The fire chief says one person has been evaluated for possible smoke inhalation.
