Firefighters Respond to Fire at Wilsdorf Hall


Charlottesville firefighters are investigating a fire that broke out late Tuesday night at the University of Virginia.

Charlottesville firefighters are investigating a fire that broke out late Tuesday night at the University of Virginia.

The fire was reported on the third floor of Wilsdorf Hall off McCormick Road shortly before 11 PM. The entire building was evacuated.

CBS19 was told that a sprinkler system kept the fire from spreading to the rest of the building.

Officials are investigating what caused the fire. There were no injuries reported.
