Flood warnings all over the viewing area after 2 to 4 inches of rain fall in a short amount of time. Many are set to expire by 9:00pm on May 7, 2013.

Reports of flooded roads and bridges in various part of Central Virginia, and there is a flood warning for the James River at Bremo Bluff.

Bottom line, be careful, especially on back roads. The weather service and VDOT warn that if you see standing water on a roadway, don't try to drive through it.
