A local app for ordering food online called "Foodio" is expanding in Virginia.
The app, which was started in Charlottesville a year ago, has expanded to Waynesboro and Richmond. They are also looking to get Foodio used at restaurants in New York.
Customers can either use the restaurant website to order food or use Foodio's mobile app. Foodio allows people to split the bill when ordering online.
"It’s something that we believe that any restaurant could use,” says Foodio Co-Founder Connor Clark. “If they are already doing online business they are probably paying too much, and if they are not then they definitely have room to sell more food."
