Foreclosure Rates Down in Charlottesville

A new housing report indicates foreclosure rates in the Charlottesville area are falling.

According to CoreLogic, foreclosure rates in Charlottesville was 0.83% in December 2012. Virginia’s rate was 1.19%, while the national rate was 2.96%.

The report also says the local mortgage delinquency rate is at 2.5%, that’s down from what it was at this time last year.
