A new report out Monday indicates foreclosure rates in Charlottesville have decreased.
CoreLogic's report shows foreclosure rates in January 2013 at 0.8%. Foreclosure rates from the same time last year were listed at 0.95%.
The Charlottesville rate is also lower than the national foreclosure rate, which currently sits at about 3%.
This is good news for those looking to sell their home, because less foreclosed homes on the market, means sellers won't have to compete with homes listed at a fraction of the true market value.
