Two years after resigning from his House seat, disgraced former Congressman, and current New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner is apologizing for more explicit photos and messages.
With his wife at his side Tuesday, Weiner once again admitted he sent sexually explicit images and messages to a woman online.
"There is no doubt that what I did was wrong, this behavior is behind me. I've apologized to my wife, Huma," said Weiner.
Weiner's admission comes after new images were posted on the gossip website "The Dirty." The unnamed 22-year old woman who allegedly received the messages told the website her online relationship with Weiner began in July 2012, and continued for six months.
In 2011, then-Congressman Weiner first denied, and then admitted, he sent images sent via text and social media to several women. Weiner resigned his House seat in June, a year before the messages in these latest allegations.
Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, says she loves and forgives her husband, and supports his campaign
With the mayoral primary seven weeks away, Weiner will soon find out whether New York voters can do the same.
