YORKTOWN, Va. (AP) - A former oil refinery in Yorktown is getting a makeover for a new mission.
The Virginian-Pilot reports that Plains All American Pipeline LP is converting the 600-acre facility into a storage depot and transportation hub for petroleum products. The project will cost at least $35 million.
The previous owner, Western Refining, close the refinery two years. It was the only oil refinery in Virginia.
