The Fraternal Order of Police celebrated its annual Christmas party in Charlottesville Sunday with local children and their families.
Each child at the party was chosen by the members of the FOP and received a present from both FOP and the Charlottesville community.
"We've been doing it for about 50 years now," said Dan Blake, vice president of FOP Charlottesville. "The community has been very generous, and we would like to thank the community for their support."
Nearly 40 kids were able to participate in this year's Christmas party.
