The president of Virginia State University's Student Government Association is asking a judge to set aside his hazing conviction.
22 year-old Brandon Randleman says he only pleaded guilty to hazing earlier in April, because the prosecutor said he wouldn't graduate if he refused.
Three other members of Randleman's fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, also pleaded guilty in April to a hazing incident that involved a student.
The prosecutor denies threatening the students, and has recused himself from the case.
A hearing is set for May 23.
