WEYERS CAVE, Va. (AP) - Frontier Airlines is discontinuing its service from Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport to Orlando, Fla., in April.
Airport executive director Greg Campbell tells media outlets that airport officials plan to meet with Frontier in the spring to discuss resuming the flights.
Frontier spokeswoman Kate O'Malley attributes the decision to a lack of demand during the summer. She says the airline hasn't decided whether to resume the flights in the fall or winter.
Frontier offers the service three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will be discontinued on April 7.
