Gov. McAuliffe Talks About Jobs, Economy on Richmond Radio

Jan. 30, 2014

Governor Terry McAuliffe had his first appearance on "Ask The Governor' on WVRA radio Thursday morning.

The governor talked in part about jobs and the economy. He says the fastest way to get thing done is through cooperation between the two parties in the General Assembly.

And even though it might be hard with the Republican majority, he thinks it can be done.

"We've got to be open and welcoming to everyone,” said Gov. McAuliffe. “I stressed this every day on the campaign. If you can come to Virginia and start a business and help us grow the economy and create jobs, we want you here."

Governor McAuliffe has also been pushing for zero discrimination in the workplace.
