Grand Jury Moves Charlottesville Bank Robbery Trial Forward

The case against a Charlottesville man arrested for a bank robbery is moving forward.

A Charlottesville grand jury head evidence against 37-year-old Richard Hawkins on Monday, finding enough proof to move the case forward.

Police say Hawkins robbed the United Bank on the Downtown Mall back in June.

Hawkins is expected back in court in November.
