Alleged TV Thief Arrested, Charged with Grand Larceny

A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a home and stealing a flat panel TV on Friday night.

James Perkins, 25, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny, both felonies.

Police say the victim arrived at his home on West Street to find Perkins putting the TV into his car and then driving away.

Perkins was later stopped by police on 6 1/2 Street and officers saw the TV in the backseat of the vehicle.
