A Charlottesville woman has a new set of wheels thanks to the generosity of her neighbors. Monticello Area Community Action Agency (MACAA), State Farm and Battlefield Ford joined forces to donate a refurbished Mercury Sable to Judy White.
She is responsible for driving her grandson to and from St. Anne's Belfield, but her old car was on its last leg. It leaked oil, the seat belts were broken and she had to cover the seats with plastic when it rained.
White is excited to finally have reliable transportation.
"I am very excited and I feel very very blessed. God has just really put me in touch with the right people good friends. I'm just so excited," she said.
White says the first thing she's going to do in her new car will be to pick up her grandson at school.

I don't know. I was wondering the same thing about the story of what to do with naturally curly hair!
WOW and to think I have to work for a living to afford my car and to have my kids attend public school.
